Fursac unveils its first vintage curation in its main parisian flagship on the grands boulevards
“Worn before to be paired with Fursac today”. So states the label carefully attached to each of the pieces composing the new vintage offer of the Fursac historical flagship of the 112 rue de Richelieu. In a dedicated area of the store, the selection of around 150 curated items (mostly outdoor, workwear, militaria & sports apparel you usually find in the best vintage stores) recalls the passion of Gauthier Borsarello, Fursac’s Creative Director since 2021, for old garments.
A collector of vintage and menswear expert, Borsarello has one of the sharpest eyes for unearthing unique pieces and above all those ones that get better with age. Pieces that become his main source of inspiration and find a natural home in his studio where he designs surrounded by his collection of nearly 2500 objects.
“Everything I do at Fursac comes from a more than 20 years old inspiration but in a very contemporary way. I picture my new collections as the ‘vintage of tomorrow’. I want it to age well and become essential pieces of one’s wardrobe over time.”
Gauthier Borsarello
Since 1973, Fursac has set for itself the mission of designing a wardrobe made to be passionately worn, lived, and passed on. The obsession with quality, a hallmark of the house, truly serves a lifestyle, as a signature of clothing designed to stand the test of time - and life. This has therefore been a natural process for Borsarello to occasionally blend vintage and Fursac pieces within his styling and creative statement. A mix that found its place in the imagery shot by the brand and now for the first time in a physical store, making accessible to all fashion lovers a selection of vintage treasures to create their very own silhouettes and spotlight in new ways their favorite Fursac pieces.
